Lyndell Gail Gordon, age 67, of Kelso, Tennessee, passed away Friday, January 24, 2014, at her residence. She was born on June 22, 1946, in Kalmath Falls, Oregon, the daughter of the late Dorris L. and Marjorie Spook Gordon. In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by her brother, Rodney D. Gordon. She is survived by her sister-in-law, Erika Gordon, and nephew, Doug Hopson and his wife Lesa, all of Morehead. Ms. Gordon was a veteran of the United States Army and was a member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints where she served as Relief Society President. She earned the Wood Badge as a Boy Scouts of America Leader and enjoyed painting, poetry, piano and cooking. Graveside services will be conducted noon Thursday, January 30, 2014, at Brown Cemetery with Elder Ted A. Marshall officiating. Military honors will be presented by Morehead American Legion Post No. 126. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to the LDS Missionary Fund. 15 E.
