Louise Giles Leonard, age 69, of Dry Creek Road, Clearfield, Kentucky, passed away Sunday, February 16, 2014, at the U.K. Medical Center in Lexington, Kentucky. She was born April 6, 1944, in Trenton, Michigan, a daughter of the late Jess and Ruby Mae Kidd Giles. Besides her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Gerald Ernest Leonard; one brother, Earl Giles; and one great granddaughter, Jessica Leonard. She is survived by her companion, Herman Bruce Leonard of Clearfield; six stepdaughters, Karen Brown of Belleville, Michigan, Gail Ianni of Westland, Michigan, Debbie Eaton of Hinesville, Georgia, Darlene Gibson of Dundee Michigan, Diane Peterman of West Jefferson, Ohio, and Denise Leonard of Millersport, Ohio; 12 grandchildren; and 13 great grandchildren. Louise was a graduate of Rowan County High School and Virginia Ferrell Beauty School in Wayne, Michigan. She was a hair stylist and owner of Hott Heads in Morehead and Perfect Image in Belleville, Michigan. A memorial service will be conducted 7 p.m. Thursday, February 20, 2014, at the Sharon Drive Pentecostal Worship Center in Clearfield with Brother Louis Fields officiating.
