Louis Vencil -Louie- Jessee, age 57, of Donna Street, Clearfield, Kentucky, passed away Friday, November 18, 2011. He was born January 9, 1954, at Farmers, Kentucky, and was the son of the late Louis Hayden Jessee and Mary Jo Poston Jessee. Louie is survived by one son, Jamey Jessee and his wife Stormi of Morehead, Kentucky; two daughters, Michele Jessee of Morehead, Kentucky, and Kandis Jenkins and her husband Brian of Portsmouth, Ohio; and five grandchildren, Dalton Jessee, MaKenna Jessee, Landon Jessee, Jaden Jessee, and Rylan Jenkins. Other survivors include one brother, Kenny Jessee of Huntsville, Alabama; two sisters, Nowana Lewis of Clearfield, Kentucky, and Renea Davis of Sharonville, Ohio; special nephew, Matthew Lewis, and several other nieces and nephews. Louie graduated from Rowan County High School in 1972. He was a former employee of IGA, U.S. Forest Service, and Cave Run Marina. Louie enjoyed turkey and deer hunting, watching U.K. basketball, and NASCAR. Funeral services will be conducted 11 a.m. Tuesday, November 22, 2011, at Northcutt & Son Home for Funerals Memorial Chapel with the Rev. Mark Caldwell officiating. Burial will follow in Brown Cemetery. Pallbearers will be Freddy Cooper, Chris Caldwell, Tim Durham, Tony Glover, Darrell Glover, and Jeff Glover. Honorary pallbearers will be Bill Walker, Wendell Jones, Robbie Durham, Bruce McClurg, and Teresa Kimbrell. Visitation is after 6 p.m. Monday, November 21, 2011, at Northcutt & Son Home for Funerals in Morehead. In lieu of flowers, the family requests contributions to help with funeral expenses.
