Lorine Jones Johnson, age 79, of Heritage Place, Morehead, passed away Thursday, June 17, 2021, at St. Claire HealthCare in Morehead.

Born May 12, 1942, in Elliott County, she was a daughter of the late Atlee Jones and Ethel May LeMaster Jones Eden.  Besides her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Lonnie Roscoe Johnson on January 11, 1996, and three brothers, William Eden, Daniel Eden, and David Eden.

She is survived by two sons, William "Bill" Johnson (Jerry) of Lexington, and James R. Johnson (Kim) of Morehead; one daughter, Debra Johnson Boggs Havens (Marty) of Mt. Sterling; seven grandchildren, Steven Johnson, Michael Johnson, Zackary Johnson, Gage Boggs, Jacob Havens, Shaina Havens, and Tori Havens; and two great grandsons, Jackson Young and Braiden Nickell.

Other survivors include one brother, Lonnie Eden of Wallingford; two sisters, Mary Cox of Wallingford and Vicky Henderson of Olive Hill, and several nieces and nephews.

Lorine was a homemaker and was of the Christian faith. She was an avid U.K. fan and enjoyed working puzzle books, quilting, watching Bob Ross on television, and gardening.  Most of all, she was a loving wife, mother, and grandmother who enjoyed spending time with her family.  She will be greatly missed and lovingly remembered.

Funeral services will be conducted 11 a.m. Saturday, June 19, 2021, at Northcutt & Son Home for Funerals Memorial Chapel with Pastor Harley Sexton, Jr. officiating.  Burial will follow in Lyon Cemetery on Brown Ridge.

Pallbearers:  Zackary Johnson, Steve Johnson, Michael Johnson, Chuck Johnson, Tarry Johnson, and William Ray Eden.

Visitation will be from 6 p.m. to 8 p.m. Friday, June 18, 2021, at Northcutt & Son Home for Funerals, 400 Fraley Drive, Morehead, KY 40351.
