Lois E. Rucker Roberts, age 54, of Morehead Road, Wallingford, Kentucky, passed away Monday, July 23, 2007, at the St. Claire Regional Medical Center in Morehead, Kentucky. She was born September 19, 1952, in Wallingford, Kentucky, to the late Tivis and Mary Lois Hitch Rucker. She is survived by her husband, Earl Tom Roberts; one daughter, Misty Roberts and her husband Ric of Lexington, Kentucky; four brothers, Leonard Rucker of Flemingsburg, Kentucky, Mac Rucker of Toledo, Ohio, Danny Rucker of Mt. Carmel, Kentucky, and Earl Rucker of Morehead, Kentucky; four sisters, Margie Arthur, Wanda Rucker, and Ava DeAtley, all of Flemingsburg, Kentucky, and Neva Nash of Shelbyville, Kentucky. She was the co-owner of Roberts Grocery for thirty years and a member of the Crain Creek Christian Church. Funeral services will be conducted 1 p.m. Wednesday, July 25, 2007, at Northcutt & Son Home for Funerals Memorial Chapel with the Rev. Ford Hinton officiating. Burial will follow in the Newman Cemetery in Fleming County. Pallbearers will be Johnny Ray Newman, Harvey Cooper, Ray Weaver, Roger Cox, Bob Miller, and Joey Jackson.
