Lloyd 'Joe Eddie' Hardin, age 66, of Cowboy Lane, Wellington, Kentucky, passed away Thursday, September 6, 2012, at St. Claire Regional Medical Center in Morehead, Kentucky. Born June 19, 1946, in Pike County, Kentucky, a son of the late Cecil and Laura Bentley Hardin, Joe Eddie was raised by Hanie and Maudie Belcher Bentley. He is survived by his wife, Rose Marie Anderson Hardin, whom he married December 30, 1967, one son, Mark Lloyd Hardin of Lexington, Kentucky; three grandchildren, Christy, Nicole, and Kenneth 'Bubba'; four great grandchildren, Elijah, Georgia, Daylen, and Blay; and his dog, Cuddles. Joe Eddie was a retired employee of Beaulieu Carpets in Dalton, Georgia. Funeral services will be conducted 2 p.m. Sunday, September 9, 2012, at Northcutt & Son Home for Funerals Memorial Chapel with the Rev. Daniel Tackett officiating. Burial will follow in Big Woods Community Cemetery in Menifee County, Kentucky. Visitation is after 4 p.m. Saturday, September 8, 2012, at Northcutt & Son Home for Funerals in Morehead, Kentucky. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations are suggested to St. Jude Children-s Hospital.
