Lloyd 'Tommy' Buckner, age 48, of Tile Storage Lane, Clearfield, passed away Thursday, October 8, 2015, at King's Daughters Medical Center in Ashland. Born December 14, 1966, Tommy is the son of Alva Miller Riley and husband Carl Riley of Morehead, and the late Dellmer Thomas Buckner. In addition to his mother and stepfather, he is survived by one daughter, Heather Renee Buckner of Morehead; two sisters, Delrita Buckner and Pamela Sue Buckner, both of Morehead; two grandchildren; and aunts, uncles, cousins, extended family, and friends. Tommy was a 1985 graduate of Rowan County Senior High School and a former employee of Homer Gregory Sawmill and Sealmaster. He loved fishing, hunting and spending time with his family. Funeral services will be conducted 1 p.m. Monday, October 12, 2015, at Northcutt & Son Home for Funerals Memorial Chapel with the Rev. Daniel Carter officiating. Burial will follow in Buckner Cemetery. Visitation will be from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. Monday, October 12, 2015, at Northcutt & Son Home for Funerals in Morehead.
