Lisa Marie Hanshel McKenzie, age 43, of Morehead, passed away Sunday, April 3, 2016. Born May 29, 1972, in Morehead, she is the daughter of Helen Harris Hanshel Donathan and husband James Donathan of Morehead and the late Sammy Hanshel, who passed away May 3, 2010. In addition to her mother and stepfather, Lisa is survived by three children, Justin McKenzie, Teisha McKenzie, and Dalton McKenzie, all of Morehead; two brothers, Allen Hanshel and Kevin Hanshel, both of Morehead; one grandson, Kaden Hutson; and extended family members and friends. Lisa was a homemaker and a sweet person who enjoyed family and friends. She especially loved her grandson, Kaden. She will be greatly missed by her family who loved her dearly. Funeral services will be conducted 11 a.m. Thursday, April 7, 2016, at Northcutt & Son Home for Funerals Memorial Chapel with Pastor Robert Kidd officiating. Burial will follow in the Jennings Cemetery on Lower Oak Grove Road.
