Linda Susan Slye Coldiron, age 67, of Morehead, passed away Tuesday, March 28, 2017, at her residence. Born April 12, 1949, in Dayton, Ohio, she was the daughter of the late Don and Anna Gilliam Slye. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband David Coldiron, on September 17, 2008. She is survived by one daughter, Cathy (Jim) Byron of Morehead; one son, David Scott Coldiron of Rowan County; two stepsons, Ronald Lee Coldiron of Middletown, Ohio, and Darrell Dean Coldiron of Florida; and two grandchildren, William Kyle Powers of Morehead and Nathasha Coldiron of Ohio. Linda was a retired teacher and of the Baptist faith. She enjoyed refinishing furniture, reading, watching Jeopardy, and loved animals, especially her dogs Jasper, Molly, and Lucky. Private graveside services will be conducted Thursday, March 30, 2017, at Forest Lawn Memorial Gardens. Arrangements are under the direction of Northcutt & Son Home for Funerals in Morehead.
