Obituary

Linda Lou Terrell Mullins, age 65, of Skaggs Road, Morehead, Kentucky, passed away Tuesday, July 14, 2009 at her residence. Born July 9, 1944, at Upper Lick Fork in Pelfrey, Rowan County, Kentucky, she was the daughter of the late Columbus and Arntie Hardin Terrell. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by four brothers, Farris, Junior, Glendon, and Raymond Terrell, and one sister, Mable Perry. Linda is survived by her husband, Clineon Mullins, whom she married December 31, 1959; one son, Danny Keith Mullins of Morehead, Kentucky; two daughters, Tammie Mullins Dean and husband Jerry of Lawrenceburg, Kentucky, and Loretta Lynn Mullins Pelfrey of Morehead, Kentucky; five grandchildren, Clineon -Slugger- Paul Pelfrey, Megan LeDawn Pelfrey Arnett, Amanda Jean Mullins, Jessica Ruth Mullins, and Michael Keith Mullins; and one great grandson, Layne Kenneth Pelfrey. Other survivors include four sisters, Ruth Gibson of Albion, Indiana, Shirley Johnson of Hillsboro, Kentucky, Mazel Mullins of Albion, Indiana, and Betty Maxey of Flemingsburg, Kentucky. Linda was a former employee of Allen- I.G.A., Rowan County Board of Education at the Rowan County High School Cafeteria, and Wendy-s. She enjoyed making crafts, quilting, gardening, and her grandchildren. She was a member of the Sharkey Free Will Baptist Church. Funeral services will be conducted 1 p.m. Thursday, July 16, 2009, at Northcutt & Son Home for Funerals Memorial Chapel with the Rev. Harley Sexton, Jr., and Rev. Herbie Lewis officiating. Burial will follow in the Gregory Cemetery on Upper Lick Fork in Rowan County. Pallbearers will be Michael Keith Mullins, Terry Wallace, T. J. Wallace, Mitch Terrell, Wayne Gibson, Clineon Pelfrey, and Chris Furnish. Visitation is after 5 p.m. Wednesday, July 15, 2009, at Northcutt & Son Home for Funerals. Visitation: Wednesday, July 15, 2009, after 5 p.m. Funeral: Thursday, July 16, 2009, at 1 p.m. Interment: Gregory Cemetery, Upper Lick Fork
