Linda Adkins Hamilton, age 71, of Morehead, passed away Wednesday, September 19, 2018, at St. Claire Regional Medical Center in Morehead. Born June 2, 1947, in Ashland, she was the daughter of the late Ross and Geraldine Shay Adkins. Her husband of 45 years, Rev. James Kenneth "Kenny" Hamilton, whom she married April 18, 1964, preceded her in death on November 4, 2009. She is survived by one son, Tracy Hamilton and wife Connie; two daughters, Rossaline DeHart and Kimberly Hamilton, all of Morehead; one brother, Dennis L. (Jeanne) Adkins of Grayson; nine grandchildren, Katie (Andrew) DeHart-Cornett, Jon (Lillie) DeHart, Matthew (Michelle) Hamilton, Brooke Hamilton, Tierra (Tim) Kochendoerfer, Jessica (Richard) Traylor, Dalton Hamilton, Dustin Hamilton, and Hayden Wellman; nine great grandchildren with No.10 due in February. Mrs. Hamilton was a homemaker and was a member of the Soldier Wesleyan Church. She enjoyed attending church and spending time with her grandchildren. Funeral services will be conducted 11 a. m. Tuesday, September 25, 2018, at Northcutt & Son Home for Funerals Memorial Chapel with the Rev. Jackie Stamper and Brother Charles Mills officiating. Burial will follow in Forest Lawn Memorial Gardens. Pallbearers will be Jon DeHart, Matt Hamilton, Tim Kochendoerfer, Jared Hamm, Andrew Cornett, Dalton Hamilton, Stephen Williams, and Jacob Planck.
