Linda Henderson Butler, age 91, of West Union, Ohio, formerly of Olive Hill, passed away Thursday, May 31, 2018, at the home of her daughter. She was born May 13, 1927, in Carter County, a daughter of the late Ulysses and Rebecca Ellen Hall Henderson. Besides her parents, she was preceded in death by two sisters, Dessie Henderson and Thelma Henderson Rice, and four brothers, Artist Henderson, Oley Henderson, Willie Allen Henderson, and Herbert Henderson. Her husband, William Bruce Butler, passed away July 27, 1996. Mrs. Butler is survived by one daughter, Patty Sutter and husband Michael of West Union, Ohio; 6 grandchildren; 17 great grandchildren; and 21 great-great grandchildren. Other survivors include one sister, Cledith McCleese of Olive Hill, two brothers, Ernest Henderson of Phoenix, Arizona, and Fred Henderson of Shelbyville, Ohio; nieces and nephews; other relatives and friends. Mrs. Butler was a homemaker and a loving wife, mother, and grandmother. Funeral services will be conducted 11 a.m. Thursday, June 7, 2018, at Northcutt & Son Home for Funerals Memorial Chapel with Rev. Chad Berry officiating. Burial will follow in the Walnut Grove Cemetery in Olive Hill. Pallbearers: William Hall, Michael Sutter, Jr., Jimmy Tackett, Marty Rice, William Hall, Jr., and Troy Hughes. Visitation is 10 a.m. Thursday, June 7, 2018, at Northcutt & Son Home for Funerals in Morehead.
