Linda Kay Basford Warren, 77, of Warren Lane, Morehead, went home to be with the Lord on Monday, February 17, 2025.

Born May 20, 1947, in Middletown, Ohio, she was the daughter of the late Will Henry and Sarah Ethel Conn Basford.

She is survived by her daughter Rhonda Ledford and husband Darrell of Morehead; a grandson Kyle Ledford and wife Stephanie of Morehead; a granddaughter McKayla Ginter and husband Jacob of Berea; two great-grandsons Kooper and Conor Ledford; and a great-granddaughter Baby Ginter arriving in August.

Other survivors include two sisters Bev Warren and Barb Davis and husband Bruce, all of Morehead; brother Orville Basford and wife Mattie of Bath County; and several nieces and nephews. She also leaves behind extended family and friends and all her special caregivers that were like family.

Linda worked in the darkroom developing film for the Morehead Newspaper, babysitting her two grandchildren until they started school, and worked at Fin Fur Feather and Shorties.

Affectionally known as "MeMe" by her grand and great-grandchildren, she enjoyed spending time with them and all her family. She loved decorating her home, making crafts, and going to yard sales. She was a people person, never meeting a stranger. Linda brought laughter and smiles to many and will be greatly missed.

Funeral services will be conducted 1 p.m. Thursday, February 20, 2025, at Northcutt & Son Home for Funerals Memorial Chapel with Brother Herbert D. Lewis officiating.  Burial will follow in Siloam Cemetery.
