Lettie Ellen Ingle Williams, age 92, of Morehead, Kentucky, passed away Wednesday, March 19, 2008, at the Life Care Center in Morehead. She was born April 21, 1915, in Rowan County, Kentucky, and was the daughter of the late John and Annie DeWitt Ingle. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Leonard Williams on August 16, 1978; two daughters, Edna Little and Mary Watts; two sons, David Williams and Eugene Williams; three sons-in-law, Edward Little, Steve Watts, and Darrel Jones; five sisters, Dicie Fultz, Vinnie Caudill, Hazel Wright, Flora Myers, and Mae Barnes; and one brother, Manuel Ingle. Lettie is survived by four daughters, Clela and Ivan Markwell, Dorothy and Danny Eden, and Verna Jones, all of Morehead, Kentucky, and Bertha and Lonnie Davis of Middletown, Ohio; two sons, James (Bill) and Carolyn Williams and Rufus and Loretta Williams, all of Morehead, Kentucky; one daughter-in-law, Wilma Jean Williams of Morehead, Kentucky; three sisters, Pearl Netherly and Alice Scott, both of Morehead, Kentucky, LouRana Wilcox of Richmond, Kentucky; one brother, Carl Ingle of Morehead, Kentucky; 19 grandchildren; and a host of great and great-great grandchildren. Mrs. Williams was a homemaker and enjoyed gardening. Funeral services will be conducted 1 p.m. Wednesday, March 26, 2008, at Northcutt & Son Home for Funerals Memorial Chapel with the Rev. Charlie Riggs officiating. Burial will follow in the Eldridge Cemetery on Bullfork Road in Morehead. Grandsons will serve as pallbearers.
