Lester Junior Hicks, age 69, of Nichols Branch, Clearfield, passed away Tuesday, April 30, 2019, at St. Claire HealthCare in Morehead. Born December 19, 1949, at Redwine in Elliott County, he was a son of the late Chester and Magdalene Adkins Hicks. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his wife, Pamela Creech Hicks on July 31, 2016, and an infant sister. Lester is survived by one son, Jody Hicks of Clearfield; six brothers, Ralph Hicks of Midway, Ohio, James Hicks, Ronnie Hicks, Larry Hicks, Michael Hicks, and Gary Hicks, all of Fairborn, Ohio; one sister, Thelma "Susie" LeMaster of Fairborn, Ohio; one grandson, Aaron Chester Hicks; and several nieces and nephews. He was a self-employed construction worker, specializing in platform tennis courts. Lester enjoyed fishing and spending time with family.
