LeRoy Caudill, age 75, of Dry Creek Road, Clearfield, passed away Tuesday, June 7, 2022, at his residence surrounded by his loved ones.

Born July 6, 1946, in Ironton, Ohio, he was a son of the late Osbal Wesley "Wes" Caudill and Wilma Maxine Hurt Caudill.  Besides his parents, he was preceded in death by his first wife, Vada Wilson Caudill, and two brothers, Osbal Wesley Caudill, Jr. and Tom Caudill.

He is survived by his wife of 19 years, Linda Smith Caudill; three daughters, Kelli Caudill Shaver, Tammy Larsen, and Ivy Caudill, all of Morehead; three sons, James Larsen of Lexington, Christopher Caudill and William Caudill, both of Morehead; two grandsons, Malcolm Shaver and Allen Stephens, both of Morehead; several nieces and nephews, and extended family and friends.

LeRoy retired after 17 years as a Morehead Police Department dispatcher and was the former owner and operator of Caudill Service.  Always willing to help anyone anytime, he volunteered for 15 years with the Rowan County Rescue Squad.

Visitation will be from 5 p.m. until 6 p.m. Monday, June 13, 2022, at Lakeview Community Church, 581 Cave Run Lake Road, Salt Lick, KY 40371, with a celebration of life immediately following at 6 p.m. with Pastor Eddie Dennison officiating.
