Obituary

Leonard McIntosh, age 74, of Oakdale Drive, Clearfield, Kentucky, passed away Thursday, December 19, 2013, at St. Claire Regional Medical Center in Morehead. Born August 26, 1939, in Breathitt County, he was a son of the late Chester and Della Armstrong McIntosh. In addition to his parents, he was also preceded in death by his wife, Patricia Lucille 'Patty' Kidd McIntosh, who passed away August 1, 1992. Leonard is survived by three children, Jeff McIntosh, Jana Moore, and Jonathan McIntosh, all of Morehead; three grandchildren, Kyle McIntosh, Brandon Moore, and Reece McIntosh; and one great grandchild, Bently McIntosh; Other survivors include seven brothers, Charlie and Patty McIntosh, Harold McIntosh, and Jackie McIntosh, all of Morehead, Roger McIntosh, Lewis and Dianne McIntosh, Chester Jr. and Pauline McIntosh, all of Salt Lick, and Gary and Brenda McIntosh of Owingsville; two sisters, Kaye and James Gregory of Lexington and Gertrude and Ronnie Faudere of Owingsville; and several nieces and nephews. Mr. McIntosh owned his own business, Leonard's Garage and Used Cars, for over 40 years. His hobbies included restoring classic cars and-as an avid NASCAR fan-collecting NASCAR memorabilia. Leonard attended Clearfield Baptist Church and Lakeview Community Church. He enjoyed worshiping on Sundays and then going for long drives. Funeral services will be conducted 2 p.m. Sunday, December 22, 2013, at Northcutt & Son Home for Funerals Memorial Chapel with Rev. H. G. Pratt and Rev. James Allen officiating. Burial will follow at Forest Lawn Memorial Gardens. Pallbearers will be Ron Caudill, Randy Cockrell, Kyle McIntosh, Jack Roe, Benny Whisman, Gary Cockrell, and Jeff Buckler. Visitation will be after 3 p.m. Saturday, December 21, 2013, at Northcutt & Son Home for Funerals in Morehead. Visitation: Saturday, December 21, 2013, after 3 p.m. Funeral: Sunday, Decemberf 22, 2013, at 2 p.m. Interment: Forest Lawn Memorial Gardens
