Lenvil Perkins, age 72, of Jones Ridge, Clearfield, passed away Wednesday, July 5, 2017, at St. Claire Regional Medical Center in Morehead. He was born June 19, 1945, in Clearfield, a son of the late Ralph and Flora Riddle Perkins. In addition to his parents, Lenvil was preceded in death by his wife of 45 years, Sandra Louise Brown Perkins, who passed away on June 18, 2013; two sisters and one brother, Maxine Caudill, Oleta Waggoner, and Glennis Perkins. Lenvil is survived by two sons, Tony Perkins and wife Tina of Ashland and Eric Perkins of Clearfield; one daughter, Kathy Skaggs of Clearfield; one brother, James Perkins of Clearfield; and three sisters, Marie Foster of Mansfield, Ohio, Geneva Hammond of Bellville, Ohio, and Jean Adams of Clearfield; and eight grandchildren, Tabitha, Brayden, Layla, Jonathan, Alicia, Austin, Tyler and Kassandra Perkins. Lenvil enjoyed watching the Weather Channel, collecting knives and guns, fishing (especially in his younger years), mowing and lawn care. He also enjoyed sitting on the porch and watching nature in general. A gathering of family and friends to celebrate Lenvil's life will be held from 5 p.m. until 7 p.m. Saturday, July 8, 2017, at Northcutt & Son Home for Funerals.
