Born January 30, 1928, in Jackson, she was the daughter of the late Vince and Ada Haddix Noble. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by two brothers, Charles Brown Noble and Leonard Noble, and one infant daughter, Charlotte Derrickson. Myrtle is survived by her husband of nearly 70 years, Dr. Charles M. The family extends great appreciation to her devoted long-term caregiver, Brenda Lewis, and to Dr. Ed Scott for his compassionate care through the years. Myrtle's happiest moments were having all the family together for a big meal. She loved cooking, her church, UK basketball, gardening and most of all her family. She started as a teacher, but her most important and treasured job was taking care of her children, grandchildren, and great grandchildren, who loved her dearly. She was a member of the Morehead United Methodist Church. A celebration of life will be held 11 a.m. Saturday, December 15, 2018, at Morehead United Methodist Church with the Rev.
