LaWanna Denise Conley, age 50, of Dry Creek Road, Clearfield, passed away Monday, September 17, 2018, at her home. Born March 9, 1968, in Rowan County, she was a daughter of the late Hershell B. and Virginia Josephine Brown Conley. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by one sister, Melody Josephine Conley, on April 9, 2013. LaWanna is survived by two sisters, Pamela Dawn Conley Brown and husband Ricky of Morehead, and Tammy Sue Conley Evans and husband Gregory of Salt Lick; and several nieces and nephews, other relatives, and friends. She was a homemaker and a former nursing assistant at St. Claire Regional Medical Center in Morehead. LaWanna enjoyed reading, painting, swimming, and spending time with her family. Her radiant smile and outgoing personality will be a cherished memory for all who knew her. Funeral services will be conducted 1 p.m. Saturday, September 22, 2018, at Northcutt & Son Home for Funerals Memorial Chapel with Pastor Tracy Fannin officiating.
