Lavonda Kay Warren Long, age 75, of Reynolds Road, Morehead, passed away Saturday, January 22, 2022, at the Life Care Center in Morehead.

She was born October 13, 1946, at Bluestone in Rowan County, the daughter of the late William Chester Warren, Sr. and Lillian Rose Mynhier Warren.  Besides her parents, Kay was preceded in death by her husband, Elmer Eugene Long, who passed away December 15, 2017.

She is survived by one son, Darrell Eugene Long and wife Dora of London, Kentucky; one brother, William Chester Warren, Jr. of Morehead; one sister, Phyllis Ann Warren Flannery of Morehead; and a host of nieces, nephews, extended family and friends.

Kay was a homemaker and farmer who enjoyed crafting and working on the farm.

Graveside services and burial will be held 11 a.m. Monday, January 24, 2022, at Poston Cemetery, 829 Reynolds Road, Morehead, with Pastor Jeff Fannin officiating. Family and friends will serve as pallbearers.

Visitation will be from 10:00 a.m. until 10:45 a.m. on Monday, January 24, 2022, at Northcutt & Son Home for Funerals, 400 Fraley Drive, Morehead, KY 40351.
