LaVerne Wooten Winzer, age 82, of Coeur D Alene, Idaho, passed away Sunday, November 7, 2010, in Idaho. Born March 10, 1928, in Knott County, Kentucky, she was the daughter of the late Henry Harrison Wooten and Delphia May Surge Wooten. Her husband, Card Edward Winzer, Sr., passed away July 2, 2010. Mrs. Winzer is survived by one son, Carl E. Winzer, Jr., and his wife Susan of Coeour D Alene, Idaho; three grandchildren, Sara Winzer, Rebecca Winzer, and James Winzer. Other survivors include brothers and sisters Clifford (Darlene) Wooten, Sam (Brenda) Wooten, Sharon Blevins, and Beverly Chapman, all of Morehead, Kentucky; Charles (Peggy) Wooten of Sulphur Springs, Texas; Dave (Joan) Wooten of Muncie, Indiana; and Clyde Wooten of Richmond, Indiana. Mrs. Winzer was a homemaker and member of the National Rifle Association. Visitation will be Saturday, November 20, 2010, at Northcutt & Son Home for Funerals Memorial Chapel from 2 p.m. to 4 p.m. A service will be conducted at 4 p.m. with the Rev. Mark Caldwell officiating. Interment will be Monday, November 22, 2010, at the Earlham Cemetery in Richmond, Indiana. Arrangements are under the direction of Northcutt & Son Home for Funerals, Morehead, Kentucky.
