LaToya Leah Susan 'LT' Cooper, 32 of Morehead, KY passed away on Sunday, January 8, 2017, along with her precious cat Climber. She was born on October 28, 1984, in Morehead, a daughter of Linda Kay (Moore) Cooper of Morehead and John Cooper Sr. of Crystal River, Florida. LaToya was a former business owner in Cincinnati, Ohio. She loved hiking and mountain climbing in Montana. She enjoyed reading, writing novels, and genealogy. LaToya was a passionate UK basketball fan since she was young. She loved animals, especially her cats. She greatly loved her niece and nephews as she had lost two pregnancies. Her dream was to visit Scotland one day. She is preceded in death by her maternal grandfather, Coy E. Moore; and two miscarriages, one of which was a son. She is survived by: her mother, Linda Kay (Moore) Cooper; her Granny, Vinda F. (Thomas) Moore of Morehead; her sister and husband, Mary (Cooper) and AJ van Rhyn; her brother, John Cooper II of Morehead; her brother and wife, James and Michelle Cooper of Cadiz, KY; her niece, Arrieana van Rhyn; her two nephews, Jace Coy Cooper and Keegan van Rhyn. A memorial service to celebrate the life of LaToya will be held 2:30 p.m. Saturday, January 21, 2017, at Trinity Christian Fellowship, 537 W.
