Larry G. Thomas, age 63, of Brinegar Road, Morehead, Kentucky, passed away Wednesday, December 7, 2011, at St. Claire Regional Medical Center in Morehead. He was born December 16, 1947, in Rowan County, Kentucky, son of the late Lester and Faye Waddell Thomas. Besides his parents, he was preceded in death by three brothers, Woody, Garland, and Irvin Thomas. Larry is survived by one son and daughter-in-law, Dewayne and Stephanie Thomas of Olive Hill, Kentucky; one daughter and son-in-law, Michelle and Darrin Kiser of Olive Hill, Kentucky; and three grandchildren, Kearston Carter, Rusty Kiser, and Maylee Thomas. Also surviving are two brothers and one sister-in-law, John Paul Thomas of Harlan, Kentucky, and Darby and Sue Thomas of Olive Hill, Kentucky; one sister, Carolyn Thomas of Olive Hill, Kentucky; several nieces and nephews; other relatives and friends. Larry was a self-employed heavy equipment operator. Funeral services will be conducted 2 p.m. Sunday, December 11, 2011, at Northcutt & Son Home for Funerals Memorial Chapel with Brother Victor Mabry and Brother Louie Harris officiating. Burial will follow in the Gilliam-Waddell Cemetery in Carter County, Kentucky Pallbearers will be Ott Thomas, Drexel Thomas, Jerry Callihan, Dalton Thornsberry, Mike Thomas, Jackie Thomas, and Bob Callihan.
