Larry Duane Jones, age 43, of Christy Creek Road, Morehead, Kentucky, passed away Sunday, December 19, 2010, at St. Claire Regional Medical Center in Morehead. Born April 25, 1967, in Rowan County, Kentucky, he was the son of the late Andrew Pershing Jones and Reba Trent Jones. One brother, Benny Jones, also preceded him in death in 1979. Larry is survived by his wife Kristi and their two children, Rebecca Gail Jones and Andrew Swanson (Drew) Jones, both at home; two brothers, James V. (Joe) Jones of Liberty Center, Ohio, and Ezra Dean Jones of Morehead, Kentucky; two sisters, Drotha Workman of Pikeville, Kentucky, and Linda Porter of Morehead, Kentucky; and many other relatives and friends. Larry was employed as a machine operator at Nestle Hand-Held Foods Group in Mt. Sterling, Kentucky. He enjoyed hunting and fishing and loved his family beyond words. Funeral services will be conducted 3 p.m. Tuesday, December 21, 2010, at Northcutt & Son Home for Funerals Memorial Chapel with Rev. Mark Caldwell officiating. Burial will follow in the Downs Cemetery in Bath County, Kentucky. Pallbearers will be Allen Workman, Joe Barker, Jason Collins, Jason Jude, Todd Gill, Austin Gill, Curtis Fannin, and Christopher Jones. Honorary pallbearers will be Drew Jones and Mikie Ward.
