Larry Virgil Dewitt, age 52, of Owingsville, Kentucky, passed away Thursday, June 12, 2008, at St. Claire Regional Medical Center in Morehead. Born April 19, 1956, in Rowan County, Kentucky, he is the son of Virgil and Darlene Lewis Dewitt of Morehead, Kentucky. In addition to his parents, he is survived by one brother, David Dewitt and his wife Cindy of New Carlisle, Ohio; three nieces and nephews, Angie Dillon and husband Bobby, Jessica Dewitt, and Bobby and Ashley Taylor; and one great nephew, Joseph Levi Dillon. Larry was preceded in death by his grandparents, Clell and Laura Dewitt and Arthur and Madge Lewis. He was an employee of Diamond Forest Resources and enjoyed fishing and hunting. Funeral services will be conducted 2 p.m. Sunday, June 15, 2008, at Northcutt & Son Home for Funerals Memorial Chapel with the Rev. Charles Moore and the Rev. Herbie Lewis officiating. Burial will follow in Ditney Cemetery. Pallbearers will be Bobby Kegley, Troy Flener, John Moore, Dennis Davis, Steve Davis, Chuck Johnson, Chuck Cassara, and Casey Whitt.
