Larry Dale Crum, age 51, of Greenhill Way, Mt. Sterling, formerly of Rowan County, passed away Monday, January 25, 2021, at St. Joseph Hospital in Lexington.
Born January 16, 1970, in Pontiac, Michigan, he is the son of Nina Jane Wright Crum Thomas of Salt Lick and the late Gary Edward Crum, Sr. Besides his father, he was preceded in death by one daughter Miranda Crum and one nephew, J. D. Maschino.
In addition to his mother, Larry is survived by his wife Eugenia "Jeanie" Haddix Crum, whom he married January 18, 2014; one son, Charlie Goldie of Owingsville, two daughters, Tammy Goldie (Adam Rogers) of Owingsville and Kimberly Hall (Terry) of Salt Lick; and seven grandchildren, Ryan Hall, Kodi Hall, Keaton Goldie, Konner Taylor, Gabe Netherley, Elaina Goldie, and Brooklyn Lucas.
Other survivors include two brothers, Gary Crum, Jr. of Farmers and Harold Crum of Sandy Hook; two sisters, Rita Sammons of Olive Hill and Alice Reffett of Preston; three special friends, Boo Carpenter, Tony Tapp, and Greg Wallace; several nieces and nephews; and a host of aunts, uncles and other extended family members.
Larry was a supervisor at Guardian Manufacturing in Evansville, Indiana, and was a former supervisor at Nestle in Mt. Sterling. He enjoyed riding his 4-wheeler and spending time with his family, especially his grandchildren.
Funeral services will be conducted 1 p.m. Thursday, January 28, 2021, at Northcutt & Son Home for Funerals Memorial Chapel with the Rev. Jackie Anderson and the Rev. Vernon Gross officiating. Burial will follow in Oldfield Cemetery.
Pallbearers: Harold Crum, Terry Hall, Charlie Goldie, Adam Rogers, Gary Crum, Jr., Braxton Hamm, Boo Carpenter, and Tony Tapp.
Visitation will be from 6 p.m. to 8 p.m. Wednesday, January 27, 2021, at Northcutt & Son Home for Funerals, 400 Fraley Drive, Morehead, KY 40351.
COVID-19 mandates will be observed including masks and social distancing.
