Larry Delmore Cooper, age 66, of Eaton, Ohio, passed away Monday, June 16, 2014, at Reid Memorial Hospital in Richmond, Indiana. Born July 31, 1947, in Rowan County, he was a son of the late Delmore and Gladys Hurst Cooper. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by one sister, Faye Brown, and one brother, Douglas Cooper. He is survived by one son, Russell Dee Cooper and wife Stephanie Lynn of Fairborn, Ohio; one granddaughter, Natalie Rose Cooper; two sisters, Lelia Butcher of Hillsboro and Jennie Lou Adamson of Clayton, Ohio; and girlfriend, Sharon Lynn Taulbee of West Alexandria, Ohio. Larry was a U.S. Army Vietnam War veteran. He retired from Greene County Sanitation Department after 18 years of service and enjoyed carpentry, gardening and mowing his lawn. Funeral services will be conducted 1 p.m. Thursday, June 19, 2014, at Hutton Funeral Home with the Rev. James DeAtley officiating. Burial will follow in Newman Cemetery. Visitation will be from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. Thursday, June 19, 2014, at Hutton Funeral Home in Hillsboro.
