Obituary

Lana Diana Puckett, age 60, of Triplett View, Morehead, Kentucky, passed away Sunday, January 1, 2012, at St. Claire Regional Medical Center in Morehead. Born June 30, 1951, in Rowan County, Kentucky, she is the daughter of the late Frank Puckett and Monnie Belle Sparks Puckett. Besides her parents, she was preceded in death by one brother, Marvin Puckett, and three sisters, Linda Puckett, Geneva Puckett and Elma Irvin. Lana is survived by two sons, Darren Puckett and wife Teresa and Rodney Puckett, all of Morehead, Kentucky, two daughters, Michelle Wright and husband Doug and Krystal Perkins and husband Kevin, all of Morehead, Kentucky; nine grandchildren, Samantha Rowley, Alli Rowley, Hollie Rasche, Jarrett Puckett, Dustin Hogge, Andrew Perkins, Tyler Griffith, Austin Wright, and Dustin Wright; and one great grandchild, Adelynn Rasche. Other survivors include four brothers, Clayton Puckett of Olive Hill, Kentucky, Jimmy Puckett of Morehead, Kentucky, Robbie Puckett of Haldeman, Kentucky, and Mike Puckett of Winston Salem, North Carolina; four sisters, Violet Fields of Demopolis, Alabama, Pauline Brewster of Soldier, Kentucky, Jackie Howard of Morehead, Kentucky, and Yvonne Sue Puckett of Winston Salem, North Carolina; and many nieces and nephews, other family, and friends. Lana was a homemaker, loved spending time with her grandchildren, and attended Slab Camp Christian Church. Funeral services will be conducted 1 p.m. Wednesday, January 4, 2012, at Northcutt & Son Home for Funerals Memorial Chapel with Rev. Larry Hamm and Rev. Charles Moore officiating. Burial will follow in the Click Cemetery. Pallbearers will be Jimmy Conn, Bub Price, Jeff Brown, Aaron Dickerson, Steven Rasche, Doug Wright, and Kevin Perkins. Visitation is after 6 p.m. Tuesday, January 3, 2012, at Northcutt & Son Home for Funerals in Morehead. Visitation: Tuesday, January 3, 2012, after 6 p.m. Funeral: Wednesday, January 4, 2012, at 1 p.m. Interment: Click Cemetery
