Obituary

LaDonna Gay Estep Jordan, age 61, of Morehead Road, Wallingford, passed away Thursday, April 23, 2015, at the U.K. Markey Cancer Center in Lexington. She was born February 13, 1954, in Morehead, to the late Odell and Thelma Christine Waltz Estep. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by two brothers, Paul Estep and Odell Estep, Jr., and four sisters, Norma Emogene Estep, Naomi Bradley, Virginia Hicks, and Genevieve Fraley. LaDonna is survived by one son and daughter-in-law, Tim and Carmen Jordan of Flemingsburg; one daughter and son-in-law, Christina and Bobby Sapp of Tollesboro; and three grandchildren, Drew Cooper, Jordan Cooper, and Laci Burns. Also surviving are two sisters, Geraldine Cox of Morehead and Mary Jo McClure of Erlanger; one brother, Willie Estep of Muncie, Indiana; a host of nieces and nephews; and other relatives and friends. LaDonna was a former employee of Guardian Automotive and attended Mt. Pisgah Christian Church. She enjoyed cooking, shopping, flower gardening, attending musical performances, and dance functions. Funeral services will be conducted 2 p.m. Sunday, April 26, 2015, at Northcutt & Son Home for Funerals Memorial Chapel with Rev. James DeAtley and Rev. Jared DeAtley officiating. Burial will follow in Estep Cemetery. Pallbearers: Drew Cooper, Jordan Cooper, Tim Jordan, Vaughn Fraley, Dale Estep, David Estep, Mike Estep, Randy Bradley, Garold Bradley, and Kevin Crum. Honorary pallbearers: Joe Fraley and Wally and Karen Trymbulak. Visitation is from 6 p.m. to 9 p.m. Saturday, April 25, 2015, at Northcutt & Son Home for Funerals in Morehead. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions are suggested to Gideons International, Camp 1609, P.O. Box 614, Morehead, KY 40351 or UK Markey Cancer Foundation, 800 Rose Street, CC160, Lexington, KY 40536-0093. Visitation: Saturday, April 25, 2015, from 6 p.m. to 9 p.m. Funeral: Sunday, April 26, 2015, at 2 p.m. Interment: Estep Cemetery
