Mary Lacy Caudill, age 81, of Bearskin Road, Haldeman, Kentucky, passed away Wednesday, December 7, 2011, at St. Claire Regional Medical Center in Morehead, Kentucky. She was born February 7, 1930, in Rowan County, Kentucky, and was the daughter of the late James Samuel (Jim) and Gracie Brown Caudill. Besides her parents, she was preceded in death by four brothers, Harlan James Caudill, Emil -Dockie- Caudill, Denver Caudill, and Bill Caudill, and two sisters, Abigail Caudill and Ollie Ethel Caudill. Lacy is survived by one son, Jeffery Caudill of Dalton, Georgia; three sisters, Peggy Bruner and Zelda Wright, both of Flemingsburg, Kentucky, and Martha Lowe of Morehead, Kentucky; one sister-in-law, Inez Caudill of Morehead, Kentucky; and a host of nieces and nephews. Funeral services will be conducted 1 p.m. Friday, December 9, 2011, at Northcutt & Son Home for Funerals Memorial Chapel with the Rev. Lloyd Dean officiating. Burial will follow in Caudill Cemetery in Elliott County, Kentucky. Pallbearers will be Ronnie Caudill, Danny Caudill, Malachi Bean, Willie Conn, Jimmy Berry, Wayne Bruner, and Jerome Bruner.
