Kristen Danielle Oney Perry, 34, of Little Perry Road, Morehead, was born August 12, 1981, in Morehead, and passed away Tuesday, November 24, 2015. She is the beloved daughter of Reda L. Clevenger Oney of Morehead and Dannie L. Oney, who passed away January 26, 2006. She is also survived by her husband, Mitchell Perry. Kris loved the late Arvetta Plank Dean and her husband Lloyd as grandparents. The Deans had babysat and nurtured Kris since she was three months old. She also leaves behind extended family and many dear friends. Kris graduated from Rowan County High School and attended Morehead State University. She was completely devoted to her father, mother, and husband and always considered other people's needs before herself. She was kind, humble, and selfless, always finding the best in others. Kris derived much pleasure from the simple things in life, helping others, enjoying the outdoors, working in her flowers, hiking, kayaking, and swimming. She also enjoyed cooking and sharing her meals with others. Kris will be greatly missed and will live forever in the hearts of those who loved her. Private services and entombment will be held 2 p.m. Friday, November 27, 2015, at Forest Lawn Mausoleum with the Rev. Lloyd Dean officiating.
