Kenneth Joe Robinson, age 65, of McBrayer Road, Clearfield, passed away Tuesday, August 24, 2021, at the V.A. Medical Center in Lexington.
Born May 12, 1956, in Mt. Sterling, he was the son of the late Kenneth and Dorothy Hamilton Robinson. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by one son, Eddie Joe Robinson, in 2008.
Kenneth is survived by his loving wife of 42 years, Brenda Kay Stone Robinson, whom he married September 3, 1979; one son, Tony Kronmueller and wife Serenity; one daughter, Nickie Robinson; and one sister, Judy Caudill, all of Morehead. Other survivors include 14 beloved grandchildren, special nieces and nephews, extended family, and friends.
Kenneth was a proud U.S. Army veteran having served three years in the Infantry. He was employed by Larry Fannin Chevrolet as an auto detailer for 20 years. Kenneth enjoyed people, never met a stranger, and always found time for his family. He adored his children and grandchildren and looked forward to family and friends gathering for his delicious home-cooked food. Kenneth loved anything U.K. but especially enjoyed Big Blue basketball and football. He also delighted in watching classic Westerns such as Gunsmoke and Bonanza. He was of the Christian faith and will be greatly missed by all.
A celebration of life will be held 3 p.m. Friday, August 27, 2021, at Northcutt & Son Home for Funerals Memorial Chapel with Pastor Mark Caldwell and Pastor Jeff Fannin officiating. Burial will follow in Brown Cemetery with full military honors presented by Morehead American Legion Post 126.
Pallbearers: Chris Caldwell, Billy Fouch, Wendell Jones, Steve Hodges, Timmy Davis, Tony Kronmueller. Grandsons will serve as honorary pallbearers.
Visitation will be 1 p.m. to 3 p.m. Friday, August 27, 2021, at Northcutt & Son Home for Funerals, 400 Fraley Drive, Morehead, KY 40351.
