Kenneth David Clark, age 72, of Holly Fork Road, Morehead, Kentucky, passed away Sunday, December 2, 2012, at his residence. Born November 29, 1940, in Rowan County, Kentucky, he was a son of the late Jack and Dorothy Polly Clark. Besides his parents, he was preceded in death by two sisters, Inez Waltz and Eula Plank, and one brother, Clyde Clark. He is survived by his companion of 29 years, Ruth Ann Logan; six children, Curtis Kitchen and wife Teresa, Johnny Kitchen and wife Regina, Kenneth Clark and wife Lisa, all of Flat Gap, Kentucky, David Clark and wife Nora of Morehead, Kentucky, Steve Clark and wife Ronnitta of Sitka, Kentucky, and Angie Miersam of Indiana; six stepchildren, Marsha and Terrel Bradley, Lisa Romans, Debbie Wade, Becky and Steve Ferguson, Allen Logan, and Darrell and Rhonda Logan, all of Morehead, Kentucky, 15 grandchildren; 12 great grandchildren; 13 step grandchildren; and 3 step great grandchildren. Other survivors include two brothers, Alvin Wayne Clark of Farmers, Kentucky, and Rutherford Clark of Lewisburg, Kentucky; two sisters, Norma Archer of Morehead, Kentucky, and Ruthie Branham of Hillsboro, Kentucky; his best friend, Willard Logan of Morehead, Kentucky; several nieces and nephews; other relatives; and many friends. Kenneth was a U.S. Forest Service firefighter for 20 years. He enjoyed the outdoors and nature, feeding the birds, and gardening. Kenneth was a kind and gentle person who will be missed by all who knew him. Funeral services will be conducted 1 p.m. Wednesday, December 5, 2012, at Northcutt & Son Home for Funerals Memorial Chapel with the Rev. Ray Glover officiating. Burial will follow in the Clark Cemetery. Pallbearers: Kevin Logan, Steve Ferguson, Terrel Bradley, Wes Wages, D. J. Logan, James Romans, Shane Gilkison, Barry Hamilton. Honorary Pallbearers: Matt Clark, Steve Clark, David Clark, Allen Logan, Darrell Logan, and Willard Logan. Visitation is after 5 p.m. Tuesday, December 4, 2012, at Northcutt & Son Home for Funerals in Morehead.
