Keith Monroe Hinton, age 63, of Christy Creek Road, Morehead, Kentucky, passed away Tuesday, March 1, 2011, at the U.K. Medical Center in Lexington, Kentucky. Born May 26, 1947, in Carter County, Kentucky, he was the son of the late George and Susie Jennings Hinton. Besides his parents, he was preceded in death by one sister, Susie Lynn Hinton; three brothers, Earsel Leroy Hinton, Billy Gallen Hinton, and Charles Eugene Hinton; and five infant siblings. Keith is survived by his wife, Kathy Kidd Hinton; one son, Keith Monroe -RoRo- Hinton, Jr.; two daughters, Drema Hinton Cole and Pepper Hinton Williams and her husband Anthony, all of Morehead, Kentucky; and five grandchildren, Autum Tymber Cole, Aspyn Rayn Hinton Williams, Canyon Storm Hinton Williams, Shyann Renee Hinton, and Keith Memphis Hinton. Other survivors include three brothers, Karl Marx Hinton of Haldeman, Kentucky, Vaughn Allen Hinton and Barry Phillip Hinton of Soldier, Kentucky; three sisters, Monie Hinton Sparks and Marie Hinton Kidd of Dayton, Ohio, and Leta Hinton Caudill of Hide-A-Way, Texas; several nieces and nephews. Keith was a graduate of Rowan County High School, a brick mason for 40 years, and a member of Bricklayers Local 7 in Ashland, Kentucky. He enjoyed gardening and his grandchildren. Keith attended the Oak Hill Church of God. Funeral services will be conducted 1 p.m. Friday, March 4, 2011, at Northcutt & Son Home for Funerals Memorial Chapel with Brother Gary Madden and Brother Jim Griffith officiating. Burial will follow in the Hinton Cemetery on Open Fork Road in Rowan County. Pallbearers: Ron Clatos, Anthony Williams, Greg Cole, Kenley Kappes, Donnie Kidd, and Billy Oakley, Jr. Visitation is after 5 p.m. Thursday, March 3, 2011, at Northcutt & Son Home for Funerals. Visitation: Thursday, March 3, 2011, after 5 p.m. Funeral: Friday, March 4, 2011, at 1 p.m. Interment: Hinton Cemetery
