Keith Ray Bowling, age 53, of Country Estates, Morehead, passed away Saturday, June 24, 2023, at UK HealthCare in Lexington.

Born July 12, 1969, in Mt. Sterling, he is the son of Curtis Ray Bowling of Morehead and the late Judy Diane Thompson Bowling, who passed away January 9, 2015.

In addition to his father, Keith is survived by one son, Joseph Templeman of Springfield, Kentucky; one daughter, Emily Bowling of Sulfer, Louisiana; and two grandchildren, Jackson Templeman and Avah Kate Templeman.

Other survivors include two sisters, Krystal Bowling of Morehead and Karla Jones of West Liberty; a special niece Brittany Dehart and her three children; his partner, Angelia Sloan of Morehead; a nephews, Tyler Hogg and Jacob Bowling; and a host of extended family members and friends.

Keith was a 1988 graduate of Rowan County Senior High School and attended Maysville Community Technical College Rowan Campus. He was a union iron worker and brick layer. He enjoyed working on his truck, spending time with family and friends, and telling jokes. Keith had a big heart and would do anything to help people in need. Many times he would cut firewood or deliver his own food to others. He will be greatly missed.

Funeral services will be conducted 11 a.m. Thursday, June 29, 2023, at Northcutt & Son Home for Funerals Memorial Chapel with Pastor Andy Lands officiating. Burial will follow in Brown Cemetery.

Pallbearers:  Brandon McClanahan, Kaleb Dehart, Justin McClanahan, Tyler Hogg, Randy Pennington, and Brandon Wease.

Honorary pallbearers:  Emily Bowling, Kayden McClanahan, Hunter Hogg, James Markwell, Jonathan Hamm, Toby Bowling, Jacob Bowling, David Bowling, and Jeremy Bowling.

Visitation is from 6 p.m. to 8 p.m. Wednesday, June 28, 2023, at Northcutt & Son Home for Funerals, 400 Fraley Drive, Morehead, KY 40351.
