Viola Kay Richardson, age 66, of Twin Oaks Road, Wellington, KY, passed away Saturday, February 18, 2023, at her home surrounded by loved ones.

Born March 9, 1956, in Sandy Hook and raised in Enterprise, KY, she was the daughter of Charlie Oliver and Eulah Smith Oliver.  In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Dennis Paul Richardson; brothers, Garrett Oliver, Junior Oliver, Gene Oliver, Billy Oliver; sisters, Dolores Oliver Davis and Janie Oliver Wright; daughter, Keisha Ann Thompson Shelton; and son, Roger Garrett Thompson

Kay is survived by her brothers James Oliver, Phillip Oliver (Margaret), Bob Oliver (Tammy), Rick Oliver, John Oliver; sisters, Reva Oliver Thompson, Linda Justice (Bob) and Cassie Dailey (Steve); sons, Timothy Thompson (Rachelle) and Chase Richardson; daughters, Brittany Robinette (Brian), Tina Thompson, and  Tierney Richardson; grandchildren, Jacob Armstrong, Colten Armstrong, Erin Craycraft Howard, Ragen Craycraft, Chynah Thompson, Caden Armstrong, Kenzie Thompson, Kaylin Thompson and Zephaniah Richardson; great grandchildren, Amelia Craycraft and Coleson Howard; several nieces and nephews; and special friends, Jeannie Sizemore and Serenity Graham.

Kay worked as a Certified Nursing Assistant in several nursing homes and was famous for baking the best biscuits in Menifee County at Trademart.  She was of the Christian faith and loved to grow flowers.

Kay will be greatly missed and remembered as a devoted family member and friend to many.

Funeral services will be held 1 p.m. Tuesday, February 21, 2023, at Northcutt & Son Home for Funerals Memorial Chapel with Bro. Phillip Oliver and Bro. Ulysses Walton officiating.  Burial will follow in Crix Cemetery.

Pallbearers will be Mike Thompson, Vaughn Thompson, Bob Oliver, Tierney Richardson, Brian Robinette, Rick Oliver and Phillip Oliver.

Visitation will be from 10 a.m. until 1 p.m. Tuesday, February 21, 2023, at Northcutt & Son Home for Funerals, 400 Fraley Drive, Morehead, KY 40351.
