Kathy Jane Carter, beloved infant daughter of Calvin Carter and Shawna Hamilton Carter of Morehead, Kentucky, joined the Heavenly Angels at birth on Saturday, October 6, 2012, at the University of Kentucky Medical Center in Lexington. Besides her parents, Kathy is survived by one sister, Michelle Carter; maternal grandparents, John and Kathy Stacy Hamilton and Arlie and Nina Dyer Hamilton; maternal great grandmother, Linda Ball Stacy; two aunts, Danella Smith, Trevia Carter; one uncle, Richard Carter; cousins, Daniel Smith, Casey Smith, and Calee Cox all of Morehead, Kentucky; and other family members. Kathy was preceded in death by one brother, Brent Carter; paternal grandparents, Carl and Dollie Carter; paternal great grandparents, Earl and Edith Fultz; and maternal great grandfather, Cecil Stacy. Graveside services were conducted 1 p.m. Thursday, October 11, 2012, at the Adams-Plank Cemetery with Pastor Billy T. Rice officiating.
