Kathryn A. Kees, 57, of Romulus, Michigan, passed away Monday, May 20, 2013. Born September 9, 1955, in Wyandotte, Michigan, Kathryn was the daughter of Thelma Jean (Stevens) Skaggs of Morehead, Kentucky, and Olin Skaggs, who preceded her in death. To cherish her memory, Kathryn leaves her husband, Kenneth Kees; mother, Thelma Jean Skaggs; two daughters, Brandy Jill (John) Towler of Bradenton, Florida, and Heather Louise Dehart of Taylor, Michigan; one brother, Ron Skaggs of Morehead, Kentucky; one sister, Theresa Kay (Joseph) DeBellefeuille of Morehead, Kentucky; six grandchildren; and one great grandchild. Kathryn enjoyed making craft jewelry and motorcycles. She also loved spending time with her family. Funeral services will be conducted 2 p.m. Sunday, May 26, 2013, at Northcutt & Son Home for Funerals Memorial Chapel with the Rev. Mark Caldwell officiating. Burial will follow in Mabry Cemetery. Visitation will be from 1 p.m. to 8 p.m. Saturday, May 25, 2013, at Northcutt & Son Home for Funerals in Morehead.
