Katherun Ann "Kathy" Egelston Goodman, age 53, of Big Perry Road, Morehead, Kentucky, passed away Saturday, May 20, 2023, at St. Claire HealthCare in Morehead.

Born September 18, 1969, in Middletown, Ohio, Kathy is the daughter of Judith Ann Tilley Miller of Neon, Kentucky, and the late David Egelston.

In addition to her mother, Kathy is survived by one daughter, Kaitlin Goodman of Ewing, Kentucky; one son, James Beatty of Mt. Olivet, Kentucky; one grandson, Brantley Dean Beatty; one brother, David Wesley Egelston, Jr., of Hillsboro; extended family; and many friends.

Kathy's husband, Christopher "Chris" Goodman, preceded her in death on September 4, 2020, and her father, David Wesley Egelston, Sr., on February 25, 2021.

Kathy was a former Johnson Controls employee in Georgetown, Kentucky, and enjoyed cooking, crocheting, and playing with her grandson Brantley and other children she loved as grandbabies.  She was dearly loved and will be greatly missed.

A memorial service will be held at 12 noon on Tuesday, May 23, 2023, at Northcutt & Son Home for Funerals Memorial Chapel in Morehead with Pastor Debbie Horn officiating.  Burial will follow at Sunnyside Cemetery in Ewing, Kentucky.

Visitation will be from 11 a.m. until the service at 12 p.m. Tuesday, May 23, 2023, at Northcutt & Son Home for Funerals, 400 Fraley Drive, Morehead, KY 40351.
