Karen Elizabeth 'Libbi' Caudill Barr, age 59, of Farmers, passed away July 2, 2014, at the U.K. Medical Center in Lexington after a short illness. Born on May 17, 1955, Libbi is the daughter of Karen Jane Alley Caudill of Farmers and the late Curnis R. Caudill. Besides her father, she was preceded in death by a half-brother, Gregory R. Caudill of Mt. Sterling. In addition to her mother, Libbi is survived by three daughters: Sarah Elizabeth Barr of Farmers, Jaclyn Nicole Barr of Morehead, and Katelyn Renea Calvert of Farmers; two grandsons who were the highlight of her life, Collin Addison Barr Royse and Calin Jackson Barr; one brother, Charles Michael Caudill and wife Debra of Ashland; nieces and nephews. Libbi graduated from Rowan County High School in 1973 and attended Morehead State University. She worked at Pathways for 18 years. Libbi loved sports cars, flowers, and animals. The outdoors was her refuge. She was an avid supporter of any activity her daughters were involved in-her most favorite being their sports. Libbi will be sadly missed by family and friends. Funeral services will be conducted 1 p.m. Saturday, July 5, 2014, at Northcutt & Son Home for Funerals Memorial Chapel with the Rev. Bush Stevenson officiating. Burial will follow in Carey Cemetery.
