Karen Sue Hall, age 65, of Maher Drive, Morehead, passed away Sunday, October 21, 2018, at St. Claire Regional Medical Center in Morehead. Born September 15, 1953, in Martin, she was the daughter of the late Webster and Nellie Blackburn Hall. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by two brothers, Stanley and Larry Hall. She is survived by her brother and sister-in-law, Howard and Ann Hall of Printer, Kentucky; one niece, Courtney Butcher and husband Ryan; and one great niece, Harper Butcher, all of Paintsville. Karen graduated from Morehead State University with a degree in Chemistry and Biology. She retired in August 2018 after dedicating more than 29 years of service as an environmental control supervisor for the Kentucky Department of Environmental Protection Division for Waste Management. Karen was an Admiral for The Commonwealth of Kentucky and enjoyed traveling with her brother and family to Gulf Shores, Alabama, every year on vacation.
