Kainon Allen Hackney of Arnow Way, Morehead, Kentucky, beloved 10-month-old son of Sarah Brewer and James Darrin Hackney, was born April 1, 2011, in Rowan County, Kentucky, and passed away Saturday, February 11, 2012, at St. Claire Regional Medical Center in Morehead. In addition to his parents, Kainon is survived by one brother, Landon Hackney, at home; paternal grandmother, Tammy Brown Hackney of Morehead, Kentucky, and paternal grandparents, Darrin and Amy McDavid Hackney of Carter County, Kentucky; maternal grandparents, Guy and Shelly Brantley Brewer of Morehead, Kentucky; paternal great grandparents, J. D. and Joyce Barker Hackney, Fred and Marilyn Sue Brown, Karen and Virgil Thompson, all of Morehead, Kentucky; and several aunts, uncles, and other family members. Funeral services will be conducted 11 a.m. Wednesday, February 15, 2012, at Northcutt & Son Home for Funerals Memorial Chapel with Pastor Wade Muncy officiating. Burial will follow in Brown Cemetery. Pallbearers: James Hackney, Josh Hackney, Darrin Hackney, and Guy Brewer. Visitation is from 6 p.m. until 9 p.m. Tuesday, February 14, 2012, at Northcutt & Son Home for Funerals.
