Julie Mynheir Sexton, age 72, of Kimberly Lane, Clearfield, passed away Saturday, December 28, 2024, at her residence.

Born January 28, 1952, in Morehead, she was the daughter of the late Haskel and Annie McIntosh Mynheir.  In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Edward Carl Sexton, who passed away in 2004; two daughters, Marcie Smith and Angel Richardson Johnson; one son, Edward Sexton; two grandchildren, Elizabeth Sexton and Michael Sexton; two brothers, Calvin Mynheir and Thomas Mynheir; and two sisters, Birtie Hardin and Printha May Stapleton.

Julie is survived by four sons, Allen (Katherine) Sexton of Clearfield, Frank (Teresa) Sexton of Jeffersonville, Wes (Becky) Sexton of East Palatka, Florida and Millard Clay Short of Cynthiana; 12 grandchildren, Ashley Hamm, Kelly Richardson, Kandace Richardson, Anthony Martin, Cameron Sexton, Destiny Sexton, Allie Sexton, Angelina Sexton, Casey Richardson, Carson Carter, Nolan Hunt, and Christina Richardson; several great-grandchildren; and nieces and nephews, extended family, and friends.

Julie was a homemaker and former sawmill worker at Diamond Forest Wood Products.  She loved building pallets, playing computer games on Facebook, being outside, and spending time with family and friends.  She will be greatly missed and always remembered.

A memorial service will be held at a later date.
