Juanita Gay "Sue" Muncy, age 69, of Springfield, Ohio, passed away Saturday, December 10, 2022, at Soin Medical Center in Beavercreek, Ohio.

Born November 4, 1953, in Warrington, England, she was the daughter of the late A. J. Reynolds and Jean Hall Reynolds.   In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her beloved husband, Francis H. Muncy, on February 29, 2016.

Sue is survived by her son, Ian Muncy and his wife Catherine; grandson, Aidan Muncy; and granddaughter, Alexandra Levine, all of Kettering, Ohio; her brother, Carl Reynolds and his wife Sharon of Columbus, Ohio; and numerous nieces and nephews, great nieces and nephews, other relatives and dear friends.

Her family was Sue's focus in life.  She looked forward to all types of family gatherings, 4 ^th of July, Christmas, or a regular birthday brought much joy to her as she interacted with everyone. Each get-together received the same special attention.  Sue was always busy, her work ethic was unmatched, and she always had some type of project going.  She enjoyed all kinds of activities--gardening, mushroom hunting, cultivating beautiful flowers, making maple syrup, jams and jellies for family and friends under the "Aunt Sue" label, and tackling home projects.  At the time of her passing, she was remodeling her home.

She was a "budding archeologist."  She had a passion for rocks, collecting fossils, searching for arrowheads, and discovering all kinds of interesting facts along the journey.  She also was employed in area manufacturing plants and retired from Stanley Electric in London, Ohio.

Sue was loved by all who knew her and will be greatly missed.

A celebration of life will be held 1 p.m. Friday, December 16, 2022, at Northcutt & Son Home for Funerals with the Rev. Jeremy Halstead officiating.  Burial will follow in the Reynolds Cemetery.

Visitation will be from 12 noon until 1 p.m. Friday, December 16, 2022, at Northcutt & Son Home for Funerals, 400 Fraley Drive, Morehead, KY 40351.
