Juanita Faulkner Jones, age 75, of Knapp Avenue, Morehead, Kentucky, passed away Wednesday, February 6, 2013, at St. Claire Regional Medical Center in Morehead. She was born June 7, 1937, in Dayton, Ohio, a daughter of the late Gerald and Velma Drake Faulkner. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by three brothers and one sister, Keith, Jim, and Chester Faulkner and Norma Watts, and one son, Mark Jones, who passed away February 27, 1990. Juanita is survived by her loving son, Mike Jones of Morehead, Kentucky; one sister, Faye Walker of Floral City, Florida; other relatives and friends, including her special and loyal friends, Debbie Goodman, Rob Durham, Mike Gregory, and Timmy Durham, all of Morehead. Juanita was a graduate of Hazel Green Academy. For many years, she was a waitress, hostess, and manager of the Holiday Inn and later became manager of Express Mart, both in Morehead. She also enjoyed being a dedicated caregiver and, most of all, a devoted mother. Graveside services will be conducted 2 p.m. Sunday, February 10, 2013, at Forest Lawn Memorial Gardens with Rev.
