MOREHEAD - Juanita Lambert Armstrong, age 83, of Morehead, Kentucky, passed away Tuesday, February 25, 2014, at her residence. She was born October 7, 1930, in Rowan County, Kentucky, and was a daughter of the late Ollie and Jewell D. Caudill Lambert. Besides her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Wathan Armstrong, on January 15, 2008; one daughter, Brenda Carol Armstrong Woodall, on December 1, 2007; three brothers, Ray Lambert, Vernon Raymond Lambert, and James Oscar Lambert; and one sister, Zora Hiler. Juanita is survived by one granddaughter, Donna Carol Woodall of Morehead, Kentucky; three brothers: Gary Lambert and his wife Melody of Morehead, Kentucky, Paul Lambert of Jonesboro, Arkansas, and John Lambert and his wife Sara of Mt. Sterling, Kentucky; two sisters, Hilda Preziosi and husband Frank and Dena Valerian and husband Bob, all of Boynton Beach, Florida; and several nieces and nephews. She was a homemaker and business owner. Juanita and Wathan founded The Style Shoppe and were co-owners of Jerry's Restaurant. Juanita enjoyed working in her flowers, talking on the phone, and shopping. She was a member of the Church of God. Private graveside services will be conducted Friday, February 28, 2014, at Forest Lawn Memorial Gardens with the Rev. Vernon Winston Lambert officiating. Family will serve as pallbearers.
