Joyce Yvonne Younger Torres, age 66, of Dry Creek Road, Clearfield, passed away Saturday, June 22, 2019, at St. Claire HealthCare in Morehead.

Born May 9, 1953, in Fayette County, Kentucky, she was the daughter of the late Abel Younger, Jr., and Carolyn Bryant Younger.

Joyce is survived by her husband, Angel Hernandez Torres, whom she married August 13, 1999; one daughter, Tiffany Perry and husband Michael of Morehead; two step daughters, Joy Torres of Frankfort and Chrystal Lynn Hammond of Lexington; six grandchildren, Kristian Dixon, Taryn Dixon, Travis Dixon, Whitlee Trent, Bradyn Perry, and Autumn Perry; five step grandchildren; and two great granddaughters, Anna Dixon and Kailey Purnell.

Joyce was a sales clerk at Big Lots in Lexington for 15 years.  She and Angel moved to Morehead in 2003.   She loved her family, being a homemaker, cleaning, and crafting. Joyce will be greatly missed.

A private memorial service will be held at a later date.
