Obituary

Joyce Kay Sloan Dulin, age 59, of Perry Street, Morehead, passed away Thursday, February 9, 2017, at her home after an extended illness. Born January 21, 1958, in Morehead, she was a daughter of the late Lonnie and Luwanda Dehart Sloan. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Frankie Joe Dulin, on December 6, 2006; one brother, Berlin Sloan; and two sisters, Judy Dillon and Matilda Sloan. She is survived by four daughters, Sarah Dulin and Crystal Henderson, both of Clearfield, and Beth James and Kayla James, both of Morehead; three brothers, Dale Sloan of Morehead, Donnie Sloan of Salt Lick, and Curt Sloan of Olive Hill; four sisters, Tina Manns of Fleming County, Donna Cook of Salt Lick, and Debbie Smith and Janet Sloan, both of Morehead; 11 grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews. Joyce was an Environmental Service employee at St. Claire Regional Medical Center and formerly worked at Morehead State University. She was of the Christian faith and enjoyed spending time with her grandchildren. Funeral services will be conducted 2 p.m. Sunday, February 12, 2017, at Northcutt & Son Home for Funerals Memorial Chapel with Brother Zack Wolfe officiating. Burial will follow in McClain Cemetery on Route 172 in Morgan County. Pallbearers will be Rick Manns, Cody Manns, Keith Cook, James Sloan, Michael Roe, Scottie Caudill, Bobby Stacy, and Randall Stevens. Honorary pallbearers will be Austin Manns and Eddie Stilton. Visitation will be after 6 p.m. Saturday, February 11, 2017, at Northcutt & Son Home for Funerals in Morehead. Visitation: Saturday, February 11, 2017, after 6 p.m. Funeral: Sunday, February 12, 2017, at 2 p.m. Interment: McClain Cemetery, on Route 172 in Morgan County
