Joyce Ann Marie Martin Brown, age 69, of Jeffersonville, formerly of Morehead, passed away Wednesday, February 28, 2024, at St. Joseph Hospital in Mt. Sterling.

Born December 26, 1954, in Grayson, Joyce was the daughter of the late James Adrian (Rip) Martin and Ina Marie Suttles Martin. Besides her parents, she was preceded in death by two brothers, Robert Dale Martin and James Randall Martin, and her lifelong best friend, Ellen Conley.

She is survived by one son, Aaron William Brown and wife Amy of Denniston; one daughter, Adrianne "Annie" Marie Brown of Lexington; and five grandchildren, Deshawn Tillman, Deja Brown, Hannah Brown, Gunnar Brown, and Harper Brown.

Other survivors include one brother, Timothy Karl Martin, and one sister, Patricia Lynn Martin, both of Grayson, as well as extended family and many friends.

She received her associate degree in dietetics and nutrition from Morehead State University. Joyce retired from St. Claire Regional Medical Center after more than 30 years of service as a supervisor in the Dietary Department.

She had a love for animals and enjoyed watching birds and her favorite television show The Price Is Right. She was of the Christian faith and will be lovingly remembered.

A gathering for family and friends will be held from 1 p.m. to 3 p.m. on Sunday, March 3, 2024, at Northcutt & Son Home for Funerals, 400 Fraley Drive, Morehead, KY 40351.
